to keep your patch tidy try to use background actor, i use it a lot to define functional areas of my patch and be quicker to debug. also if you rename actors and if you use a lot of comment box it helps a lot

thanks Juriaan. I dug a bit deeper into the code of one of these and added some Izzy inputs, and I'm proud to say I made a shader actor that does exactly what I want it to.

yes, it is clear but if I work with two HD movie as input I get only an ovale and cannot change the proportion.

It's a pity that Virtual Serial Port hasn't been updated for years - it'd be exactly what I want, I think.  Most solutions seem to involve more command-line work than I'm comfortable with.  I might be able to cope with plugging in an Arduino, though.

If I have any breakthroughs, I'll let the forum know.

@jfg this would have been very helpful to me when I was looking for it (and indeed I didn't ask), but still, the user actor I built is more efficient for my personal need at the moment, since it enables diagonal edges as well (thanks to the edge rotate feature of the edge blend masks)..

You can also use the "Scene Intensity" actor with a "Comparator Guarded" that triggers a pulse once the intensity goes below your low value. 

@woland I had thought of that, so I tried with every option in the audio rate parameter; no dice.  Vimeo's compression guidelines suggest 320 for the data rate and a sample rate of 48khz. "For any audio uploaded with a sampling rate over 48kHz, we will resample your audio to 48 kHz or below."  It also suggests using the AAC-LC codec.

I did test out the rtmp actor on Facebook live, and it functions as it should.  So it's definitely not something with my setup, it looks like it's strictly a problem with the RTMP actor not working with Vimeo specifically...

@dbini maybe it worth to try it out the Matrox...my question is if the Matrox can "see" the 2 different Stages from Izzy as @Gabriela-Luque showed in the picture using an Ipad for the 3erd Display

If the Projector actor you're using has IzzyMap, you'll need to set the resolution of IzzyMap to match the resolution of your physical displays. This can be done at the bottom right of the IzzyMap dialog.

Isadora is capable of sending / receiving OSC streams

Creating the basic operation 0+1 as an extra input / output didn't work. It didn't force the script to run again, based on what I could see.

User actor on/off DID work! But it still caused a data loss / light dip. So, i took the matrix value send (which is the source of the DMX data) OUT of the User Actor, so that it wasn't also being toggled on / off with each cycle. Just had to make 16 User Outputs in the user actor, but I actually prefer this because I can have my own lables such as "Light 1 Hue..." etc. These connect to the values in the Matrix Value Send which lives in the main scene. Problem solved! Now have lossless light change with real time updating.

Thanks again for all the help! I will try the other solutions in due time but for now, we install this week so glad to have the problem fixed, even if its a little bit of a roundabout.

It doesn't make them useless, they have different applications. If you want to modulate just the x scale, just the y scale, or both at the same time by the same amount, you use the respective published input for that task.

I understand how you see it, but unfortunately, that's just not the way that published inputs work. Fortunately, the regular "Zoom" input on the Projector actor does exactly this if you only have one IzzyMap Slice (or want to zoom in/out multiple slices by the same amount).

Try putting all the thirds of the TH2Go into a single Stage using the Blend Maker button at the bottom of the Stage List in the Stage Setup. (My example below uses an overlap of 0%, but if you're edge-blending the three projectors you'd likely want an overlap of 20% in the blend maker and with the physical throws of the projectors so that Isadora can do the edge-blending.)

Next check Stage Setup for the size of the Stage you've created:

Then use that Stage Size to set the custom size at the bottom right of IzzyMap
