Currently, this functionality does not exist in the Movie Player actor (it is a planned addition for the future but right now we're busy with IzzyCast). @RIL suggestion may be perfect and useful for you. You can also look at editing your script/captions in an external file and then reading in the file directly - that way any updates can be tracked as a line number.

As Woland mentioned, you can accomplish this in Javascript.
You likely want to build a 2D array (https://www.w3schools.com/js/j...) such that the Array is made of short arrays that contain the Value & the Position.. So you might have [50.33,2] where 50.33 is the max volume, and 2 the position it is in.

So your array may look like this (if it has 5 positions) [[50.33,1],[20,2],[10,3],[15,4],[30,5]]

You could then use the Array Sort feature on this array (https://www.w3schools.com/js/j...) to sort by the Volume level (first value in each sub-array).

This could give you this array: [[50.33,1],[30,5],[20,2],[15,4],[10,3]]

See how the value levels are now in descending order: 50.33, 30, 20, 15, 10

In this way, you can determine that the highest value came from output position 1, and the second highest volume came from output position 5

Hopefully that gets you started.

Short answer: This is a known issue. The workaround is to set your keyboard language to English (USA).

Long answer: In macOS Ventura, there is a new feature called "Keyboard Equivalent Localization" that automatically translates keyboard equivalents (i.e., shortcuts) if the specified key is difficult or impossible to get to on the current keyboard. What is terribly annoying is that 1) this feature is turned on by default, and 2) there is no way to disable this in the system preferences as far as we can tell. Only within the app itself can this be disabled, which will require a new version of Isadora. Since 3.2.6 was compiled with the latest SDK, this new "feature" enabled itself without us opting in. The workaround is to set your keyboard language to English (USA).

 If you send it directly to your Saffire (choosing Saffire as output in the AUAudioDeviceOutput ) it will send the sound to the chosen channel. It doesn't work if you make a Multi-output Device with your Saffire and e.g. Blackhole because Multi-output Device have only two out channels. I haven't find a way to get both together in Isador or to have more outputs in a Multi-output Device

I installed various NDI and Dante tools on both my Mac and Windows PC.

NDI 5 Watcher's "audio out" on Windows includes: "Dante Via Transmit (Dante Via)".

NDI 5 Watcher's "audio out" on MacOS includes: "NDI Audio".

I will test both of these today.

My goal is to send my Isadora Stage output to a video wall via an AnalogWay server. It supports NDI.

Someday I would love to port our encoder (Rust) to an Isadora Actor that is similar to the RTMP streamer Actor.

Or perhaps our app could support Dante AV-H input (H.264 with AES67 audio) from an Actor that sends this to a group address.

Or perhaps our app could support NDI HX3 input (H.264 with ?? audio) from an Actor that sends this to a group address.

I would love to brainstorm with anyone on these ideas!
