There is no need to change anything else. If the HASP driver you used is working correctly, then that is fine, for Isadora.
You mention some glitches with other softwares, but they could be related to many other things. If any of these glitches are repeatable repeatable bugs that are relevant to doing your designs, it may be worth mentioning them here in more detail, since others may also have been affected and found solutions or workarounds.

Fred, thank you for the info. Yes, I've studied a bit the BM Intensity manual, and I see some adjustments. But those seem not to correspond eg to contrast either. So, I suppose, I would basically get the same (as with BM Intensity) by just attaching the camcorder via FireWire and adjusting the parameters with actors in Isadora? However, that would increase the processing tasks. And it would not be square pixel – DV-PAL res 720x576 versus SD (PAL) 768x576.

And thanks Maxime for the plugin. I actualy have the plugin already. My problem is that I'm going to have this installation simulaneously in three exhibitions, and I have only two DFG (PAL) converters. If I'm lucky, I could find one secondhand converter from somewhere, but each individual converter needs a specified unlock key code to make the plugin work (the outcastsoft website does not work anymore, you can't have the key codes anymore). Without this unlock key the plugin makes the video alternate between pink and green after about couple of minutes.

So, I would need to be extremely lucky to get the second hand DFG1394-1e (PAL) and the Mac unlock key for plugin version 3.0x. Of course, if there's anybody here who could sell his/her converter with the Mac unlock key, I would highly appreciate that :-)

The solution will largely depend on how you are trying to generate material for the fixture array and what your budgetary constraints are. I have done system design and consulting for installations with between 20 and 340 universes of LED fixtures and my typical solution is that we use one system (Isadora in this case, I would assume) to playback or generate an appropriate resolution video feed and then we use a dedicated hardware or software solution that takes in the video feed from the media server or playback software and handles the mapping of the video across the hundreds or thousands of individual fixtures and sends out Artnet, sACN, KiNet, etc to the individual fixtures or to networked DMX nodes responsible for each universe or cluster of universes. This has the advantage of making it much easier to configure the whole system as you are using a system that is really designed to handle the logistical and computational demands of dealing with all of those fixtures. There are numerous options on the market for this later role. Feel free to shoot me an email if you want to discuss more specifics of this project and I would be happy to advise.

The texture actors listed are something you can ignore, simply replace themm with standard Movie Player / Projectors.
However the ReadTextFromFile actor is a custom actor available as a download in the forum here.

Wow, that's great. I've tried many approaches, but never got it to work. It probably comes down to the device appearing as a true multi-channel device under Windows. @ckim: I did not upgrade to Mavericks on my laptop or my new MacMini. MacMini with SSD out preforms my laptop as I expected it would! Three projector TH2Go patches that were starting to run between 15fps-20fps on the laptop are now solid 30fps on the MacMini !

I found this line relatively frightening however:

it's not me  mark implemented the lovely feature to rename the actors so it is just a "trigger text" actor having the appropriate name  and giving the string (input) to the send serial actor if you are unsure what actor it is you can use the actor help (right mouse click on the actor) to identify them great it worked out best clemens

Monoprice is my go to for all cables unless I need professional/tactical grade cabling. We also use Gefen 100m VGA over Cat5 baluns extensively but if you are only looking for 15-20m then you will be spending a bunch of money on a good extender and Cat5 cabling when you could just buy a simple VGA cable for $15-20. I have often used 100' (30m) VGA cables from Monoprice without any sort of quality issues.

Well I really tried hard bu no success with this actor. Mark showed it to me before osc gained the stream setup window. I never succeeded bu now Paul Bourke moved to Quartz composer (I just learnt that) It is definitely worth a shot. I'll play around that next week. http://paulbourke.net/dome/warppatch/

For the sync, with the actual version of isadora, I would say the best is to not do anything. Linking the position is so performance heavy that it creates an out of sync for what I tested. You can try: - be sure you have no media storage bottleneck ( that your hdd/ssd is fast enough for the codec/resolution you use ) - don't start a movie when jumping in a scene.  Activate your scene before you have to start the movie, with the movie player setted so: - visible ON - speed 0 - position 0 - then trigger speed=1 to the movie player via OSC to start reading your movie. If your master computer also reads a movie, maybe you have to delay the start on the master of a few ms, linked to the little delay it takes to trigger the slave computer via OSC. I was using this method, and did pretty heavy tests with it, I was never out of sync of more than 1 frame. I used this method for a edge-blended screen done with 3 projectors connected to 3 pcs.
