for Mac
You'll have a better time working with the Kinect on an Intel Mac because on an Apple Silicon computers (M1, M2, M3, etc) you'll need to right-click the Isadora application on your desktop or in the Applications folder, choose "Get Info", and check "Open using Rosetta". (You only need to change this setting once on an Apple Silicon machine, but if you don't do it, the OpenNI Tracker actor won't show up in the program. I'm not sure but you might need to do it again if you update to a newer version of Isadora, as the new Isadora 4 application will replace the old Isadora 4 application and I'm not sure if the setting is preserved through that process.)
Please take a moment to add your hardware and Isadora version to your signature line as per this post, as it helps us with troubleshooting and giving advice: https://community.troikatronix.com/topic/6764/everyone-read-add-your-operating-system-and-hardware-to-your-signature-line
