The software has been updated in 2016 and relied on QuickTime support from Apple to grab the necassary information / texture's. Since Apple has ditched support for QuickTime it means that the software wont work on newer versions of macOS. Like the Github issue explains you have to rebuilt the software against a newer version of OpenFrameWorks.

That button is left from QuickTime. We have plans to re-build much of the functionality of Live Capture for Windows, but at this time it is not possible to switch the camera settings directly from Isadora.
Logitech may offer some utility for camera control that offers more advanced camera controls.

Try to reboot, and then navigate to the Isadora folder, find Isadora.exe and right click on it.
Select "Run with graphics processor" and then select "High Performance..."
Hopefully you have this option, and it allows you to open Isadora using your NVIDIA gpu.

I am glad it's working for you. The modification isn't something I am going to release as an update, since it breaks the resetting of the 'S'M'R' button lights.
I will post it here for others though in case its useful to anyone else.

Very nice tracking and particle work. I have to say I did not see anything in your video that could not be done with Isadora native particle generators. If you want more sophisticated repel and attract parameters look at the 3D Model Particles module. It has very capable options for the style of particle systems that you are designing and are particularly effective when responding to tracking data. The tool set has been enhanced for this purpose about 18 months ago.

Many thanks for ther expanded and well rounded guide to the SRT actor.

It makes a lot of sense. From the start, I had my SRT file(s) in a different folder due to jumping around doing numerous items. I did not think this would be part of the issue but I should have known better.

To confirm, via your guide above, I can get the SRT actor to work correctly and the subtitles appear in my variety of test movies. 

I have missed the boat for this particular occasion. The request was on Sunday for a presentation/opening on Monday am. I will happily keep this guide in my bag of Isadora's tips and tricks.

Many thanks for the effort and time put in to explain and clarify how best to use this actor. As usual, it is much appreciated and I am grateful for the back up and support these forums always offer.

The Adafruit Huzzah is also fine, it can send OSC over the Network to your Show PC. Much easier to setup then Serial communication. Please be aware that you should have a solid isolated network for this types of things. (That can do both 2.4 Ghz as 5Ghz, since micro controllers most speakly on 2.4Ghz)

If I made what you propose, the lamp flash randomly. But I don't understand why or what happen with this change. I don't have the same fixture and for my test I don't use this patch. I have a Botex Dimmer with 4 sockets. In one sockte I have a normal office  lamp)it could be also a motor) and I use the simple patch I sent you- With this patch I get also randomly flash of the lamp and a randomly flashing of the 4 channel on the dimmer but so what…

I think I will buy another USB DMX. I read here (unfortunately only in german) https://wiki-de.dmxcontrol-pro... that there is two sorts of usb Dongle: activ and passiv. Activ are better and use the DMX USB Pro protocol but I have a passive using the open DMX USB protocol. A problem is that information (active or passiv) seems to be a secret and cannot be find in the product descritions.

Thank you for your help but I think I let it with my workaround or a new dongle. To bad, I found it was a good solution for students because the interface was very cheap and convenient for small project or test.

Dear all, someone of you use CentralControl. I've try to send OSC message with Isadora trough this but no way to connect each other. With other software like OSCWidgets or TouchOSC it works fine. The OSC work also on Isadora well connecting with other software. I can't find the reason. Any suggestion?

 This is the question since most provide semi-spherical images that need to be converted to equirectangular images to be used in Isadora.
I have spent some time looking for a shader that would do this conversion but wasn't successful, so I have only been able to use conversion software supplied with my camera. So no live feed yet.
