@dusx quick question, I’ve got a wireless artnet setup working with an entec Ethernet to dmx converter using an iPad using the lumiair app as a light desk .Could this actor work with this type of setup by substituting the iPad control for isadora? 
I've a feeling I’m over simplifying the process once again.

In compensation, here is the finished User Actor, now more appropriately called Count N Triggers.

It will count from any integer to any other integer, thus counting upwards or downwards.

The trigger rate can be set and it outputs: the current number, the time between triggers, and a trigger out.

You may also want to add a Smoother Actor to transition the speed value if changing it by value (not an envelope), creating acceleration ramps.
(this may only work with HAP or Prores video, I wouldn't use mp4/h264)

We discussed this internally within the team and sadly none of us has a Kinect v2, Model 1595. The ones that have a Kinect V2 all have a 1520 model.

I have to say it works fine / has been quite robust on plays/installations that I did.
If you have any follow-up questions / want some advice let us know.

...for your different solutions, all of which are expanding my understanding of how to program switches and triggers in Isadora. Using the Trigger Value actor as a binary 'on/off' switch is powerful. Monty talks about this too. In the end I went for a mouse watcher with no modifier triggering a zero/off, so that i can toggle between on and off using the modifier i set for the first Mouse Watcher (img). This is good, but following the tutorial advice, I am now playing with the Stage Mouse Watcher to get something closer to the kind of 'touch = 'on' / release = off' experience.

if I really understand what you want (I am not sure), your problem is coming from the toggle actor. The init entry is set to off so that by every scene enter it will be active so set the output to off. But as you use the output only as a trigger you get by scene entry a trigger. It is normal. You have to set the init input of the toggle actor to none to have no trigger on changing scene.

But further why do you use so much actors in your fist user actor to get only a trigger. You can use only the keyboard watcher to get the same result. Here an example how I would make your patch:

I have a Mac 10.13.6 and Isadora 3.0  I am not getting the full screen when I utilize the window list on the Screen Capture. Any suggestions?

EDIT:  I figured it out, for anyone that may have this issue make sure your window cpu mode is on, it is under the window list

And to answer your question, yes Isadora works on MacOS Big Sur.

 If we're creating any native Isadora actor, it would be cross-platform.

The only reason all those QC, CI, and Audio actors are only available on Mac is because they're not our plugins; we pull them in from the macOS architecture. So since we didn't create them and they're not actually part of our program, it's not possible to make them available on Windows because they simply don't exist there for us to access and make available in the same way we do on Mac.
