I believe that the answer is no. The GPU only has two discreet outputs so if you connect three monitors, two will be mirrored as far as I know.

Hello all, I just wanted to spread the word about a lovely piece of hardware that I plan on buying. The product is called a Slide'n Joy. Basically they are extra screens for your laptop (Mac AND PC) that attach to the back of your screen. Personally, I am very tired of only having one screen after using multi-screens with my desktop. They are in preorder right now, and the only reason I haven't ordered yet is because they are talking about developing touchscreen models. The enttec boxes are hardware and just send the right kind of serial command from USB, the company is not know for its lighting software. Take a look at QLC+, I run it on a raspberry pi and send it OSC, or you can run on mac windows or linux and send OSC or midi to control anything. It will utilise the enttecs universes and it is free and very solid. With the Pi you can ssh, have kisok mode, work headless or with a screen, or you can hang them off your computer. Cheaper and more flexible than a lanbox.

if the quality of the image is not of the greatest concern, you could use the mulitviewer feed as an input thus allowing for a multitude of cameras to be fed into isadora through a single feed.

I did so using the ATEM multiviewer so the cropped feeds were rather low rez, - preview, and program looked good.  I'd imagine with a multiplexer you can get 8 feeds in better than SD quality if your multiviewer is 1080\. The problem may be with the refresh rate of each camera in the multiplexed image. I can't recommend any system but just a thought in that direction.

I did not do any side by side tests. Generally when I have had to use the integrated gfx everything is limited, less effects and slower performance- for non live stuff you watch the render time double. You can not upgrade it later so it is worth the money up front- or buy a PC with much better specs for the same price.

Yeah, well, this problem is really a hassle, especially for anyone who wants to create an installation that doesn't require daily maintenance. I wish Apple would just fix it already!

I actually wrote some code that can identify the make/model of the display/projector, so Isadora might be able to figure this stuff out itself. But unfortunately it doesn't help if all the displays/projectors are of the same make and model. (There is actually a serial number field associated with the device, but no device I tested actually implemented that feature.) Good Luck! M P.S. If you need to share screens, use Apple's built in screen sharing if possible. Totally seamless and easy.

I've been using isadora with the lanbox for quite some years now and i made a user actor (called DMX router Matrix) that connects 512 matrix values to the lanbox channels.

This actor is in my first scene that is always active. Now you can use the 'matrix value send' in an other user actor to patch the dmx.  I never had problems with this.

@gapworks I had some "improvements" with the situation: If I use the incremental version of the position it works fine, even from Isadora, and the commandes appears to be in the good order as in:  "GET /service/galileo/position?pan=" **P1** "&tilt=" **P2** " HTTP/1.1\r\nHost: 192.168.0.28\r\n\r\n" But still no change for the absolute positioning (which is the feature I would like to use...) So to me I would really think there's something with the airbeam version or the Motrr SDK version they are using I have  Airbeam v 2.1.4 (build5) Since it seems to work properly for you @Marci , I'm curious to know which version you're using

Thanks to Mark and everyone for suggestions. I have now completed the project using a Mac Pro with 4 x 20K lumen video projectors (1920x1200 res) and a control monitor. The projectors and monitor were connected through five IOGear TB to HDMI adapters.

The video sources were two ProRes 4K movies (3920 x 2160), which were mixed together in real time with continuous color and luminance adjustments, and then split into 4 x 1920 x 1200 quarters, all running at 24 fps with edge blending and izzymapping. You can see video documentation and photos here:

Hello thanks for that. I used to do the same with 2 BM thunderbolt mini rec. My doubt was coming from resellers who said it doesn't work with Mac ! BM support just confirmed it was a mistake but too late because in-between I had to buy one. I chose the BM decklink duo 2 in a akitio thunderbolt 2 to pcie. have a good work.
