I would have to agree that having a way to divide inputs and outputs of user actors would be a great feature. Being able to color code, label and segment inputs and outputs of User Actors would add great efficiency and the ability to better organise and manage user actor functionality.

You can trigger pre filled text actors with the ndi source.

exactly and perhaps easier to do an equivalent to "Get URL Text" an actor "Send URL". I use at this time the QC Webbrowser to send command to a PTZ Camera but sometime this old QC actor crashes without any reason.

I hate Apple for this yearly OS change. No time to work on other things (sound , etc…)

The return problem in different controls is solved for me on Mojave.

Now the plugin page is getting full it would be great to be able to search the list. It would also be cool to be able to filter by author on the first page (I know you can do it once you get to a plugin).

I use the 3D Line module quite a lot for generative visual compositions. I would like to suggest a feature request to have the option for rounded ends on the 3D lines that this actor creates.

@mark I know, but check this scientific paper. Multiple people are tracked (better to say that tracking is estimated) with a monocular gb camera. Occlusions and interactions are handeled. It is serious (Max Plank institute of informatics....)

You are right with Meldaproduction and it is the same problem by each update. I have also a problem with the aesthetics of the interface but it is common by audio software.

Thanks for the list.  I missed that in my search yesterday.  I do think this has potential, as long as all manufacturers agree to play. In the past, that hasn't always happened.

@bonemap Agreed. When I'm testing ZoomOSC outputs, I need a separate program to author / trigger the OSC inputs that create the outputs so I can auto detect them in that interface. This would allow me to both send and receive in Isadora.

Right now the maximum number of parameters for the Text Formatter, Send Serial Data, and TCP Send Data actors is 9. This number should be increased to something like 99 to allow us to send more parameters inside one actor.

At this moment we can only import 3d models with a 3ds extensions. I know that there are efforts to include other extensions too. Can we look forward to the possibility to import .obj files in the near future?

And the next step: Importing 3ds starts to get buggy if you try to work with files with more then 32.something faces. (I experimented a lot with that.)  Lost textures in single faces all around the model. Can we look forward to an increase of this number, cause 32.000 isn't that many in these days.

It would be great if you could define a list of text items that become an integer index in the User Input and User Output actors. This would allow selections in a manner similar to the 'blend' mode of the Projector actor, or the 'type' input of the OSC Listener actor.

 Yes, that is the case. Currently we do not have a method of tracking versions of user actors. This is something we have discussed, I will make sure it's in the feature requests tracker for further discussion.
