Thanks for your responses and time.  Guess I haven't gotten to do "creative use" of control actors =P It certainly looks like a safer way to be tied to the TC. I didn't even comprehend the Logical calculator until now so I've even learnt something new. The Timer Tool is Michel's allrite and, for the looks of it as i've seen in this forum, a must have for TC sync (particularly when sending or receiving from/to other software).  What I tried to accomplish with my confusing layout: a graphical display of the MTC being received by Isadora.  Couldn't find one and since the musician will be triggering and pausing it from the orchestra pit I want to see it running or stopped.  Control freekish? Audio Midi Setup is a Utility Program found /Applications/Utilities. If you want to play multi-channel audio from a movie, then you must have a way to make the movie. But QuickTime Pro isn't the only way. A quick google search turned up this tutorial on how to do it in Final Cut Pro X. Premiere must have a similar feature. The only other way to play multi-channel audio is using the AUAudioFilePlayer, which is part of the Core Audio upgrade. But this is an audio-file only solution; it doesn't play video also. Unfortunately Windows has no scripting mechanism like Applescript that can talk to an application. I don't have a good solution for the Windows platform.

i've found what to do.

Thanks for the responses. It was 'user error' after all (isn't it always!) - I resorted to something called 'reading the manual', which turned out to be quite interesting.  I hadn't set the Jackrouter connections properly. All working very well now. Thanks, Andy

Yes Yes Yes. The separate control panel for each scene is the solution. The links remain the same for scene to scene, but now I can the Bin Picker selected for that scene.

First of all, for anyone reading this who is using Mavericks -- please see [this link](http://www.enttec.com/support-center/kb/article/108-OS_X_Mavericks_(10.9)_-_IMPORTANT) -- as there seems to be a problem with the ENTTEC drivers on Mavericks. One user reported that the only FTDI drivers that worked for him was version 2-2-18 You can get that version here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm You may also want to refer to their [installation guide](http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Documents/AppNotes/AN_134_FTDI_Drivers_Installation_Guide_for_MAC_OSX.pdf) - especially the part that shows how to remove the old drivers. To do that, you need to do the following in the Terminal program. cd /System/Library/Extensions sudo rm -r FTDIUSBSerialDriver.kext cd /Library/Receipts sudo rm -r ftdiusbserialdriver.pkg sudo rm -r ftdiusbserialdriverinstallerPostflight.pkg sudo rm -r ftdiusbserialdriverinstallerPreflight.pkg Let us know if this helps. yes of cause. this is my need for the 5 3d projectors, each:

x (left/right) max= -2/+2,  at z (size) -10

x (left/right) min= -0,1/0,1, at z (size) - 1,5

for each layer i use two Limit Value Scalers:

Limit Value Scale x: -2 bis 2

Limit Value Scale z: -10 bis -1,5

but how can i make it?

Just make sure that your projector fills the whole space. Then you can use multiple projectors and just zoom and out move them left and right.
