Can someone else check if quads set to opaque adhere to fades? For me the just appear hard an do not adhere to any kind of scene transitions, with go triggers, jump, jump++
@jhoepffner Thank you for the info. We will keep exploring the set up we have achieved for now at least with the two channels and see where this takes us . If you develop the Max patch and happy to share would be interested in seeing it how it works. Thanks again. Lucie
You could try using the actors that have the option to ignore their connected processes when a 'gated' parameter is enabled. These are the'Selector' and 'Router' actors. The Isadora manual explains these in more detail.
Youu can only mainuplate the image in processing. It’s the processing code that is making the 3D visualisation. All syphon is doing is taking a copy of the output and sending it to isadora which is reciving a copy of image.
So you can’t rotate the 3D image in XYZ space in isadora; only in processing.
@Salimelo I ran a show last year where I did everything but the live audio in Isadora on a Windows machine, and ran the live audio (mic input, effects, directional sound output) in Isadora from a Mac controlled by the PC Isadora. It was very simple to do using MIDI controls and/or OSC. Secrets to success:
1: using a dedicated router with DHCP to connect only these two machines and the iPad sending OSC messages via TouchOSC. 2. Assign IP addresses to the machines, so that the IP addresses are always the same.
