I think this product is specific for that Obsbot Tail Air camera and probably won't work with your Insta360
NDI is a protocol for sending good quality video across a network. It works very well, in my experience. I use it for sending video from one computer to another and also use it a lot to send subtitles from one Isadora computer to another.
If you open the NDI Watcher actor in Isadora it will give you a page with lots of information about how to use it.
It might be overkill for what you need now, and maybe @Fred's suggestion of a simple USB2 ethernet extender is the best option here.

So how does this practically work? Do you take the signal through the ethernet cable into the computer? Or how would ghis setup work practically? I also saw osbot has an adapter from usb c to ethernet but Im not sure if this is what it does?
Ok, thats smart:) a bit expensive but it gives an option for more extention:)

They don't say what the max length of ethernet cable would be, but I've asked.
They gave me a vague "several dozen metres" answer, and suggested I tell them how long I needed and they would test. I said 100 meters...
This could also be a possibility for you:

@jfg. Ah thank you so much, I will try that out.
I ended up giving up and just using all the sound for the level watcher. I was using Izzy to created a haunted house room, where the ambient sound played all the time but when triggered, the jump-scare scream goes off and light from projector hits the scary skeleton... reflecting in plexiglass so it forms a hologram, like a pepper's ghost. The sound level made the light flicker in time with the scream.
(edit: what I was missing was the AU sound level watcher, didn't know about that)
I'm sure there are hardware ways to do this especially if it was a permanent exhibit, more reliably over years, but for a one-night party Isadora was my instant choice.
