Finally had time to get around to your question.
Attached are a few screenshots bundled as a PDFisadora-capture.pdf showing how to get Isadora stage output into Capture:
1. In Isadora, enable NDI output for your stage. (In the example, I enabled the alignment grid.)
2. In Capture, go to the Project tab (bottom right), then open the Media tab. The NDI stream should appear there.
3. Create a projector in Capture and select it.
4. In the Properties panel of the projector, under Media, select the NDI stream.
5. Set one of the viewports in Capture to “Live,” select the projector, and turn it on.
You may need to rotate it, as projectors are positioned lens-down by default.
Note: The number of simultaneous live video streams depends on the edition of Capture you’re using. I have the Quartet edition, which allows up to four streams at once.
Hope this helps! If you need any additional pointers, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Hello Community,
Anonymous Ensemble seeks an experienced Isadora programmer/operator for our technical rehearsals and run of Anonymous Ensemble's Llontop at Pregones Theater in the Bronx for the first few weeks of January. The job would entail working with technologist Adrian Cameron to help run the interactive installation portion of the show. The job also entails operating a live feed camera during the performance portion of the show (do not need to be expert). The commitment is January 5-18 as well as some paid prep work in December. Bonus for experience with AWS cloud computing, Zoom broadcasting, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate would be somewhat bilingual Spanish/English. This is a paid position. Please contact eamonn@anonymousensemble.org for inquiries or suggestions.
Warmly,
Eamonn

I would never upgrade anything just before a major tour... that's kind of asking for trouble!
I second this.

I didn't think about the tip of simply hiding part of the name!
Well, you couldn't have because you didn't know it was a pixel limit and not a Scene Limit ;)
This issue is one that really annoys me personally, so once we have this next release out the door, I'll see what I can do about pestering one of the programmers to get this bug fixed.
Thanks, I understood that. My names are mostly abbreviated already, but I'll try to shorten them further. I didn't think about the tip of simply hiding part of the name! I'll try that, too.
Cheers,
Hugh

note: since some updates require a file format change, its best to always copy your project file (and rename it) then open and update this new version so you can be clear about which file is updated and which is original.
This is unnecessary. Having to do this constantly with Isadora 1 and 2 annoyed me so much that for the release of Isadora 3, I bullied Mark into making a dialog that comes up automatically and all but forces you to leave the original file untouched and instead pushes you to open and update a copy of the original file in the new version.
It is the same as the bug you linked to.
The issue is not a Scene limit, but actually a pixel limit. You can fit 290 Scenes with the default Scene width, but if you make your Scene names wider you'll hit the bug more quickly. A workaround is to shrink your Scenes horizontally as much as you can while still having them remain readable. You can shorten names by abbreviating things, e.g., a Scene named "BLACKOUT" could be changed to just "B/O" or "BO", a Scene named "Midsummer Night's Dream Scene 1 Act 1" can be shortened to "MSND S1A1", etc. If you still hit the issue after making your Scene names less wide, you can just shrink them as small as they will go (making them unreadable in the Scene List) and then use the Scene Select Control in the Control Panel to see what the names are and to navigate.
Hi folks,
I've found a weird and new-to-me interface problem in v4.1.3: I have 100 scenes in my show and when I get to the end, it's as if they disappear. What's actually happening is that they are scrolling so far over to the left that they go off the screen. It seems impossible to add more scenes at the end of the line. I tried to add them earlier and drag them to where I want them, but when I try to do that, it deletes whatever is the current last scene in the show.
It may be related to this, but I am WAY under 290 scenes... [ANSWERED] Urgent Help needed Can't add more than 290 scenes
Anyone else?
Cheers,
Hugh v4.1.3
Has anyone ever tried to send a stage output from Isadora to the swedish visualization programm "Capture Sweden"? They offer camera media or OBS as Media player, but there is no other other input available. Is there a way via syphon? I need to feed Capture Swedens Screens with Isadora Stages. Any help highly appreciated.
