Here are a couple of example patches I made in the past covering this topic. They're probably similar to what @bonemap already posted, but maybe they'll be helpful too.

@vidasonik no problem. my knowledge has tight limits, however..:-)

you should be able to use the Ableton Connection kit for OSC devices to talk to the onboard ones in Izzy. 

But even better for what you are trying (if i understand it...) is the free 'LiveGrabber' OSC Ableton tools from Showsync. The 'Analysis Grabber' can 'grab' audio frequency data which you can send via OSC to Izzy.

Wow I can't believe I didn't think to change the bitrate in my formatting, thank you for this suggestion! I'm converting it now and then hopefully I can have a go at changing the parameters I wish to change. I might be back to ask some more bits regarding when it comes to parameters to change but this is a great help and thank you again so much.

thank you. I cannot try it out directly right now, because the PC is stationed in an isntallation space. Just to understand you right, VB is acutally something like "soundflower" on Mac? So I route all outgoing sound of isadora to that, and use it as input in Zoom? That way I wouldn't be able to hear the sound myself on my speakers, right?

That was totally it. I deleted some old VST (Audio Unit) plugins and now I seem to have working Sound Input again. I can't tell exactly which one broke it since I just removed them all, but seeing that "AU" was unexpected pointed me in the right direction that it had something to do with Audio Units.

Apparently, a multi-institution push led by Yale University has resulting in Zoom offering a "high quality" audio mode in version 5.2.2. 

This CDM article by Peter Kirn tells you how to take advantage of this new feature which may be important to Isadora users.

What you can also do is use a Enter Scene Trigger and a Trigger value to 0, connect that to all your Audio Players, that way when you enter the scene all active fields get a zero causing them to become OFF instead of ON. :)

Audio out on Movie Player

I like to have a switchabel (in the visibility output properties) audio output on the Movie Player. If switched to visible audio is separate from the video (and can be manipulated, like delay etc.) if it is non visibil than the movie player acts as usual.

I have just tested the Sound Player with a wav file in Isadora 2.5.2 and it is working as expected on my system.
So I suspect we will need to look a little deeper at your system config.
