I am using TP-Link Archer C7 1300 + 450 ghz, connected to the MAc thru a Usbc ( or USB2 on another config if I remember well) to ethernet converter and the 3 iphones were set to 960/540. And yes, sometime, it loosing frames... And sometime not! I am not expecting magic from this configuration so I assume some lost, and I guess I'd use a different ( and much more expensive! ) technologie if my employer asked me for a perfect result and can afford the price of good cameras connected to quality Newtek Wifi HDMI/NDI converter, for example.

I saw Newtek updated his own phone cam and, good news, is "offering" again an Android version. I wonder if it gives better result, but sadly there is no demo version to try it, and it cost 20€...

@plastictaxi it depends what you have to do, Streamyard is pretty basic but if you have good network it works well

I have used mac since 91 when I got a mac LC, that is 30 uninterrupted years of use now so its hard to let go. I have some PC's now as well for visual applications. There is no way around it anymore. But I hang on to my trashcan and macbook for every day use. Big sur almost tipped me over the point with all the ios vibes. I only upgraded because the recently released Octane X renderer demands it and maybe it would wake up the eternally slumbering AMD firepro's in the trashcan. (Its not bad, but its a 2013 gpu, so it is what it is)

For studio work, I am trying out Parsec. It is a free screen sharing solution targeted at the game community, who are notoriously latency intolerant.
It took me 2 min to install and now I have the power of my GPU workhorse running in a window on my mac.

So this is how I will deal with it for now. I can stay on my trashcan and have all my GPU intensive stuff crunch away on the PC without leaving the couch. And a bit of windows drudgery actually kind of balances out the noveltyfication of big sur. 

So I think its time to swap out the trashcan for a M1(X) mcMini with Parsec. And maybe after that kick the apple habit completely. At the moment I am trying to figure out which miracle is more likely: apple to be more pro and less iphone again, or windows to reinvent themselves with a soul? What do you think?

 That's right. I was streaming via Atem mini pro using high quality setting. I love the flexibility/functionality/accessibility of OBS but have found that, for demanding patches, software streaming can be tough on CPU

i've been using my Canon 550D with the Webcam Utility for a few months now. it works well in Isadora/OBS/OBSNinja despite the 550D being too old to be officially supported.

Is there a reason you're using NI Mate over Isadora's own OpenNI Tracker actor which you can download from our "Add Ons" page? Just mentioning it in case you don't know it exists. ;-)

Please create a support ticket (using the link in my signature) and I will look into this issue asap.

You shouldn't have any trouble running 2 screen capture actors, especially in GPU mode.

I would recommend you install and test the plug-in to be sure, since hardware configurations often differ and can potentially change the behaviour.

I just did a quick test on my laptop pc, and capturing from 2 displays with animated content I am using ~70% LOAD in Isadora at 60fps. This tells me I could do much more before I am mxed out since the GPU isn't working very hard. It all depends on what I want to combine.
