Hi,

I can confirm 4 x USB camera inputs through a OWC thunderbolt 3 usb dock to Isadora Live Capture Settings.  I also looked at adding additional RGB through the OpenNi Tracker Beta plugin (because it also captures RGB from Kinect and Astra cameras). However, I could only get the depth camera source (the OpenNI Tracker plugin RGB camera source appeared disabled (black screen) while using the Live Capture Settings USB video input).

 I have used this button for a project in the past. I didn't even consider using HID, I simply did as you mentioned and used the Keyboard watcher. It worked great.

 OSC has a default range of 0 through 1.0 so the Limit-Scale Value actor needs to be told this initial range, and then the range to scale it to.

@mark_m I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to see how you were getting along with this setup after several months of using it?  I have been researching this myself as of late for my windows PC and wishing there was a windows version of atemOSC to get Isadora to reliably control my atem 4K production switcher.  Have you been happy with it? How has stability been?  MIDI sometimes seems to crash my atem control software and/or lockup my switcher when using my nanoKontrol to control scenes in Isadora.  Have you found any other alternatives since?

In terms of an official release of an M1 native version, it's going to take some time -- though a beta may be available far sooner. Before putting our "stamp of approval" on this, we need to purchase M1 machines for the entire team (happening next week), given them a build, and do complete regression test of the entire program. If there are bugs or incompatibilities, those have to be addressed and then we have to retest. So it's coming, but it will take some time.

I will not make a prediction yet as to how long it will be before a native M1 version is released, because we need to get the Big Sur release out. (Very very soon.) Then we can progress to the M1.

In the mean time, we anticipate that the Big Sur compatible version will run in Intel emulation mode on the M1 once we get it out.

I use a focusrite Clarett pre8 with Isadora. When doing frequency analysis I use multiple Audio Frequency Analysis Watcher modules and calibrate specific frequency ranges using the available parameters. If there appears to be a lot of sub frequency noise in the frequency bands being able to specify frequency ranges with the frequency Watcher can provide a better filter than the automated division of the Bands actor.
With audio input through the live capture setup, I have found that the gain control is critical for mitigating input sources. Using the Smoother actor is also a common practice to remove jitter from frequency streams. There are some really informative posts buried in the forum and I highly recommend doing a search to dig out previous posts using the key words Audio Frequency or similar. Searching for answers in this forum is one of the quickest ways to make informed decisions about the capacity of a specific feature in the Isadora application as it relates to your hardware setup.

 This is the same config as the Aero 15 x8 I am running.
It is possible to turn off the Laptop display, and only use the HDMI and DisplayPort displays. I have seen that this drops the usage of the Intel card to near zero.. but its not off. Running Isadora in this configuration needs more testing but it seems to work well.
Generally, Isadora works rather well with the laptop screen active. There is a known issue with preview windows sometimes pushing the LOAD above 100%, but this doesn't seem to occur when stages are full screen (out via the dedicated card).
I have not been using the Thunderbolt output.

@postl There is a set of node-red nodes that will talk to the API, node-red is a free node based programming system, it can output a variety of formats that Isadora can read, easiest is OSC (not included with node-red).

Node red is a great tool to do a lot of the little things that Isadora cannot, easy to use and it will run on pretty much anything, so you could run this on a raspberry pi rather than use your computer.
