      @dbengali Hello! I couldn't replicate the issue with an Apple Pro Res 422 file nor a quick AVC codec saved via QuickTime Pro. I'm running on a MacBook Pro M2 / Tahoe 26.1 / Isadora 4.1.3

      Best wishes Simon

      Hi,
      I usually do the chases using a sequence of [wave generator] shifting the phase depending on the amount of fixtures in the chase. The limit-scale allows me to set the max-min intensities of the chase.

      I also use a Javascript actor to automatically assign the phases: This is actually not really needed since it's generally a one time job and you can do it by hand.

      I hope this was clear. Don't hesitate to ask if I was not clear enough.

      @kosmopilot

      As far as I know, you'd only potentially have trouble if you intend to use the Screen Capture actor with Isadora 4 on Tahoe. We've not had any other reports of issues with Isadora 4 and Tahoe as far as I know.

      That being said, technically macOS Tahoe is not currently a supported operating system for use with Isadora 4. (This doesn't mean that Isadora won't work at all on Tahoe, it just means that we are still in the process of discovering what we need to update in order to unbreak the things that Apple broke for us in Tahoe.)

      @dcmp

      Hi,

      Yes, those are the right modules to use.

      As identified, you will require a way to take the linear stream of numbers from the Matrix Value Receive across to the LanBox Channels inputs. To achieve that, in the Matrix Value Receive actor, I have specified a comma to separate the values (as in CSV), a script can then be prepared to return each value individually. Isadora offers a range of ways to implement scripts to parse data including with a Javascript.

      The Matrix Value Receive actor has an assignment mapping when you double click on it. It is there where you will correlate the channel input to the output stream.

      The Matrix Color Send has a video input and I have used the Get Video Size actor to return the pixel dimensions of the video stream (in my case 650 x 650 pixels). I am then using that information to determine the inputs for 'repetition' and 'spacing' of the 1 pixel rows indicating where the video is sampled for its intensity as an input 'grey', greyscale image.

      I have prepared an example that resolves what you are doing with the Matrix Color Send module... here.

      best wishes

      Russell

      thank you for the answer.

      Glad to read that you have logged this as a feature request, it 's really important for people working with alpha channel... (and isadora is, in my opinion, really made for this !!!)

      So i will keep working in prores 444 (just have to slow down on layer's numbers and glsl ...)

      After a quick browse, I suspect these cards will just work with Isadora's blackmagicdesign integrations as they are.

      We are very happy to share that the Venice Architecture Biennale has come to an end — and that Isadora ran non-stop for 7 months powering the immersive installation at the Argentine Pavilion !!

      It has been an extraordinary experience to see Isadora sustaining a continuous, stable, real-time system for the full duration of the Biennale.

      Isadora Latin Network, in partnership with Mexican visual artist Héctor Cruz, designed and programmed the immersive video projection device that accompanied the piece SIESTARIO — created by Argentine architects Marco Zampieron and Juan Manuel Pachue, winners of the national competition for the Pavilion.

      Thanks to everyone who visited, supported, and followed the project throughout these months.

      Big hug, Maxi Wille – RIL

      Would it be possible to adjust the behavior of isadora in a future update so that pixels on a display that are outside the boundaries of a stage do not pick up any pixel data from the edges of any stages that touch them?

      Yes, I can log it as a feature request. It's certainly an interesting use case. I must say that I do find the stretched pixels kind of pretty though, and even know of Isadora users who also like this look and cause it to happen intentionally.
