I would love the opportunity to test the multi channel audio for Windows, which is due to be included in the release. I have a project coming up which requires multi channel audio. Is there any chance of participating in the beta testing?

This was resolved via the ticket system. In the current release of Isadora, if you have some special characters in the file name, eg / \ | ? * ", then the capture actors won't work correctly. This has been fixed in an internal beta and thus this won't be a problem once we have a new public release.

Here is a new version of Syphon Virtual Webcam that is compatible with the OBS Virtual Camera driver now included with OBS v26.1 and later.

The team has not tested this yet, but it works for me. I will post it on the plugins page once the team verifies that it works.

It’s now almost ten months that I made the support ticket to solve the bug that makes my patches freeze Isadora. 

I told you in end of April that I was not in a hurry. However, I would really need a solution now. I need to finish the project soon, and I cannot do that if Isadora keeps freezing. 

I have began to doubt that it's about a memory leak, but hopefully you could find the culprit. So, I made some further tests and attached them (test results and the patches) to the old support ticket. I sincerely hope you could look into this problem now.

@mark Ah, yes, I see. I was reading that the way I expected it to act. I now see how it is actually written. I only recently upgraded to Isadora 3 (yes, I know...) so that would explain why it is acting differently. I thought it had something to do with google drive corrupting it or something. We open tonight, so no moving things back and forth, but I will try later this week once the show gets going. That's a great idea to try the shared folder. I'll report back when I try. Thanks!

I can see from your screenshot you're using the Comparator to deactivate the same Scene all of these actors are inside. I would suggest you jump ahead one Scene to a blank Scene with a Jump actor set to 2 seconds instead of trying to deactivate the Scene that you're sitting in.Make sure that you set value1 on the Comparator to initialize at 0 otherwise it could trigger itself immediately upon entering the Scene (since it would still have the value1 from the last time you were in the Scene).

@dusx Thank you. I temporarily solved my problem by using an envelope generator and trigger to make mini-scenes. I will look at your patch to make a background to see if I can figure it out.

I also found that my problem wasn't needing preloading. I just needed to Initialize the Play Start for my video so it wouldn't have the black at the front end. I thought it was a loading problem. It wasn't. And thanks for sending me the link to the other info. I hadn't run across it before and it's very helpful.
