This sounds like an issue I experienced with some projectors. Digital display devices, like projectors and flat screens tend to have a delay, if they do picture optimisations or manipulations. The amount depends on the device itself and often on specific settings, regarding color, scaling, up to internal warping. MOst times this isn't to much of an issue, as it is just some frames. But if you depend on it for e.g. timing on music, it can become an issues.
I even had this issue once with different delays on the same type of projector, and at least thought to have the same setting, finaly replacing the one with the issue.

Unfortunately you have discovered a bug in the new release. The WAVE file is using a "chunk type" I hadn't seen before during testing. It's a simple fix and we'll probably have to release an update to 3.0.8 in the next couple of days because of this.

I haven't use the text input, only the slider to set the volume.

and with only one connection on input 2 with a value with comma it works.

 If I had a second connexion no more.

But you are right if I replace the comma with a period (1:1, 1:3, 2:2@11.0, 2:4) it works again.

@mark i think there s also a pb on the zoom if thé output point goes beyond the workplace limit, zooming out doesn t allow to catch the handle back...

Thanks for pointing to the file you are referring to. The procedure for multichannel audio associated with the MoviePlayer is under redevelopment, that is my understanding. Since the move away from Isadora’s reliance on QuickTime for the MoviePlayer, the multichannel audio and frequency bands have not provided workable option in my experience.

A suggested solution here is to extract the 8channel audio from the movie file and use it as an audio only wav file with the new multichannel audio features of Isadora 3.0.8

I don't know what to say about this. It works for me on macOS on Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

That said, there seems to be something buggy about the NodeBB release we've got installed (1.15), and we've just installed the latest version (1.16) on a private server so we can test that it works. Once our team has tested 1.16 we'll update the public forum here, and hopefully that will address some of the issues we've seen recently -- a lot of which somehow seem to be related to cookies.

 Only the Windows capture system was updated in 3.0.7 (from Direct Show to Windows Media Foundation), so that is expected behaviour. Not having sound capabilities is likely the same as in 3.0.7, I can't test unfortunately, but suspect its a limitation of the webcam driver.

Anyhow: you were right. I just put the gui monitor onto the M2000 and one projector on the 770 instead. Now Spout works.

For everyone's benefit: the crash the user is describing can be caused by a bad font being installed in the system.

When you install fonts on macOS, don't just put them in the font folder. Instead, drag them into FontBook because then the font will be analyzed for problems.

For example, one font that was causing a user trouble generated this dialog when dragged into FontBook.

If a font shows errors like this, it may cause Isadora to crash.
