      MP4 files

       MP4 files are designed for forward playback. The way the compression works requires the loading of sequential frames. If you will be playing a video in reverse or scrubbing its playback (moving the position input) you want to use HAP. Hap is by far the best format for interactive playback. It is much larger however, so long files will be large. So Mp4 is useful for standard/forward playback of long movies etc.

      You should be able to just move the movie files, then reopen the Isadora file (skip relinking the missing media) then see if your files behave as expected.

       Hi there Lois,

      You need a so-called SPI Controller to control Pixel strips like that; depending on your chipset you will need a converter that can basically convert DMX (or sACN) to SPI.

      A few examples of those controllers;

      https://smartshow.lighting/

      https://dmxking.com/led-pixel-...

      The ingredients that you need;

      A DMX to SPI ControllerA beefy power supply! (You need 60mA for every single pixel, 5v, WS2813 preferred since they won't die when a pixel is broken)A way to connect all the grounds together

      More information about the subject can be found here;

      @dusx @Woland  Thanks!  Yes, I also think the way of transmit the OSC data is a little weird, but looks that works with other software as Blender.

      I´ll contact with the developer to see if there is a way of get the data properly from 51 channels.

      Best regards!

      No additional drivers should be required. The OpenNI actors include the required components. Isadora must be run in Rosetta Mode, and the installation instructions for the plugins must be followed. I don't have a similar machine to you, but all works as expected on my M1 mac mini, and my Intel mac mini.

      Are both PCs?
      If so, have you run ipconfig in Command Prompt to see the addresses of your network cards?
      Sometimes Isadora can in rare cases report the wrong IP if your system has multiple network interfaces.

      I always install Isadora on both machines, as I find it easier to debug/test communications between Isadora instances. Once Isadora to Isadora is ironed out, is easy enough to get the other tool seeing the data.

      From there on out I would avoid WDMX as the plague, try to use cable as much as possible, if that is not possible then use this product since it is the most solid for this type of environment.

      Don't disagree completely and I would definitely avoid all of the rip-off brands, but this one is solid. It's what's built into the newest ETC lighting fixtures:

      Multiverse® Wireless DMX/RDM (citytheatrical.com)

      After yesterdays announcement from Ultraleap of the new Leap Motion 2 and forthcoming support once again (due in July I believe), it would seem there is a new path forward.

       Yes, it's very exciting. I can't confirm yet whether or not we'll support the Leap Motion 2, but I sincerely hope we have the time to add this feature.

      @Armando OH MY GOD !!!! I tried to connect a broadcaster to skeleton output property of the rokokko actor and putting a listener in data mode and it works ! It is just that listener type must t be set on data. when like that its value output becomes "skeleton" if attached to a skeleton decoder. The only confusing part is that the broadcaster value input doesn't show data not skeleton but just three dashes ! It works !!!!

      "I think most applications only respond to keystrokes when they have the keyboard focus."

      i hear you, but the one contrary example is the excellent Syphon Recorder which hears the Alt-R-Cmd calling above the clamour of all the other software. Which is seriously useful...

      Thank you for your time. I had installed the patch you mentioned. v1.0.1

      What I found was the problem to be was - in the Isadora Plugins Folder, under the properties for the RokokoStudio Live Watcher, Skelton Decoder etc, the various .dll and .qtr files, their Attributes had been blocked by Windows 10 because "it was downloaded from another computer". I checked  on the unblock option and hit apply and - magic -  they are talking to each other.

      Big thanks Isadora Community.

      As an aside Rokoko tech support advised to use Json in Rokoko's Livestreaming. That was wrong for me. JsonLz4 worked not Json.They also advised to avoid Mac.....??

      Thanks Again

      Hi! I think that you need a special network cable to connect directly two computers, called a crossover cable.

      I agree that the easy way is to put a router between the two computes and use a normal ethernet cable.

      Best regards!

       Sure, Kinect2share runs on Windows, but can share the Kinect video via NDI and Skeleton tracking via OSC, so it is perfect for a 2 computer setup between two PCs, or a PC and a Mac.
