In essense you can force the Push2 inside User Mode that allows you to map it as any normal 'midi' controller. You will lose the LCD options, but all other options should work fine, also see this article on their website

If you then connect it to Isadora you should be able to see the Incoming Midi Messages inside the Status and Monitor windows. If you know that you will be able to make some nice User actors / Macro's for it

Hi, I've packaged up the Selector solution with User Actors with a completely horrible little Javascript rolodex. But when set up for the first time it is one click to shunt sources around.

@Michel Thanks for the advice, I'll check the video delay actor. 

@jfg I had a look, I am not sure I know how to recompile, or if I have time, and 2 sec is not long enough.  Maybe I can use a different program for the audio delay. I might try audacity.

I've updated the plugin download to v0.9.8 which is the latest version. This includes simplified instructions for installing.

Hi, those are great solutions and I didn't realise Isadora could do that. I have some ideas regarding linking multiple eyes together to lock on to the eye shape and then put a cluedo cutout over with a gaussian mask. Have attempted a couple of versions attached sans eyes prior to this. Obv foreground faces not always more luminant than background and a variety of other problems inherent in a non machine vision approach. ndi fakebg.izzndi fakebg2.izz

Ultimately for our application we're going for zero user requirements so trying to avoid asking the user to do anything. However, it could be possible to gamify this step in the interim as an onboarding... Thanks!

Further explorations with Video/Audio input and Izzy. Until I update my computer hardware, processing live video is too much for my laptop. So, currently the best workflow I’ve found is to record the video/audio via OBS as a “raw” take. Afterwards, I bring in the OBS movie into isadora and do all the processing after the fact. Syphon recorder records the Isadora stage visual output, and isadora audio (coming from the movie) is sent to the syphon recorder audio input via Loopback app.

The tunes are nothing special; modular synth sequence played on a Bugbrand 4U synth

 ok ... this can come in handy! in fact I had tried with a korg sq-1 sequencer and accepted it from isadora's "show status".

Yes that's true it works without the trigger value actor, but only to activate the button, except you invert the values of the button. Trigger value gives you direct control to what state the button should be.

@mc_monte Has been doing a bunch of tricky things with streaming video with synched audio and may have some insight.

Maybe one could have the option to choose the coordinate system. This would allow progress and still support old pages...?
